Your year at a glance looks delightful - challenges that you can handle, weird surprises with happy endings, the next-phase-of-development for projects that got underway in the early part of 1998. January through mid-February, Mars is in your sun sign. Very important, and more specific info below. March and April are good times to wrap up business that started in late summer 1998, while May and June could have relationship troubles, or weird times with Virgo or Pisces folks you thought you could count on. Okay, let's throw the Gems in there too. July is when your life really gets crackling, as Jupiter moves into Cancer, making a lovely angle to your sun. See comment about early part of 1998. From July through the end of the year, you want to avoid important decisions about your life that don't seem like the natural next step from late October through early December. Unless you're Mr. Or Ms. Firm Answer, you'll be pulled in too many directions.

When Mars transits your sun, you can make incredibly smart (and overdue) decisions about your life and relationships. It's a good time to cut deadwood, to stand up for yourself, to make brave investment decisions (what the hell is W. doing to the NASDAQ this week? Tweak-tweak), bail on a job that's taking advantage of your willingness to be competent, or bag on exploitative situations in general. If you're male, you may find you're feistier and more argumentative than usual. And that you can impregnate the Chosen One. That last is mostly anecdotal from my POV, but the anecdotes are often overwhelming in number. Here are specific times for you to act...

January 1 through 10, if your birthday comes in October.

January 11 through 20, if your birthday comes from November 4 through 8.

January 20 through 31, if your birthday comes anytime before November 15. The rest of you get these goodies in February.

And the microview, says that January 1 through 3 are excellent for meeting new people (who won't stay in your life). January 4 and 5 will find you irritated, while January 6 and 7 are times to spend around the impetuous. January 8 and 9 could be intense for you emotionally, but you won't realize it until January 10 and 11, when you're willing to talk (complain). January 12 and 13 are excellent for being alone, while January 14 and 15 are days to resist being forced into a decision. January 16 and 17, the moon is in your sun sign. Cranking your insight (paranoia). Making you pretty intense. Whoops, meant to type "pretty and intense." Take your pick. January 18 is going to be weird, January 19 and 20, you can fritter money, while January 21 and 22, sanctimony could be too attractive. January 23 and 24 will be as weird as the same days the previous week, while January 26 and 27 is a good time to be sympathetic - it'll pay off. January 28 through 31, don't be rushed into decisions you haven't thought through (unless your birthday falls in the relevant time zone, see above).
