For a hair salon ad, there’s an awful lot of hair in this ad. Either two poor hippies have grown together, or this is a salon specializing in Siamese twins. This ad from the July 2nd, 1974 issue has as the main selling point, " hair has no sex. " From the looks of it, neither do these people. This salon for " guys and dammes " wants you to " come in and meet the Cropper. " To tell you the truth, I fear the Cropper. The location of this salon is now the Porter Square Press. They might want to check the basement; the Cropper and his two-headed hippie monster might still be down there, lurking, waiting for their next hapless victim.
