Despite the name and modest size, a very fine Mandarin-Szechuan restaurant with a Taiwanese emphasis on deep frying and good lists of vegetarian specialties and Shanghai cold appetizers. Don't miss the big noodle soups, vegetable tempura, orange-flavor chicken, strange-flavor shrimp, or the "Pu Pu scallion doughnuts," which take scallion pancakes to a whole new dimension.
