Perdix

Co-owner chef Tim Partridge is a roast-and-grill kind of guy, but with a fine touch on seafood. To move up from a tiny space in Jamaica Plain to a small space in the South End, he's powered up his garnishes and desserts, and while the menu changes often, this really is the place to have arancini, monkfish, "steak with whatever Tim wants," and hot chocolate with cookies for dessert. Unusual wines, too.
