Located in the heart of Newport, the museum is housed in three buildings, including an 1864-style stick house designed by Richard Morris Hunt and a neoclassical-style exhibition gallery built in 1920. The exhibitions focus on the contemporary and historical art of Newport and New England. Open Mon. through Sat. from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and on Sun. from noon to 5 p.m. Admission $4, $3 for seniors, $2 for students, free for children under 5.
