In its eighth season, the music festival features internationally renown soloists and chamber musicians from Aug. 16 through 25. Shows at 7:30 p.m. with pre-concert lecture at 6:30 p.m., unless otherwise noted. Tickets are $15, students and seniors $12; subscription for four concerts $50, students and seniors $40.

Aug. 16, Opening Night Concert, program featuring Bach's "Wedding" Cantata #202, Gus Janssens's 2nd String Quartet, Brahms's Piano Quartet in A major.

Aug. 18, Beethoven's Piano Trio Op. 1, No. 3, M. Brody's Divertimento for oboe and strings, Dvorak's Bass Quintet.

Aug. 19, "Family concert," performing Bruce Adolphe's "Little Red Riding Hood" for narrator and ensemble. At Children's Museum of Maine, Portland. At 12:30 and 2 p.m.

Aug. 23, Concertino, Beethoven's Trio, Op.11, David Taddie's Concertino, Arensky's Piano Trio.

Aug. 25, Romantic Serenade, Mozart's Flute Quartet in D Major, Dohnanyi's Serenade for String Trio, Franck's Piano Quintet.
