  Mohegan Bluffs and Southeast Lighthouse, Block Island, RI, (401) 466-5200. The bluffs rise about 200 feet above the sea and stretch for nearly three miles along the southern shore, offering spectacular scenery. In a monumental achievement, the lighthouse was moved 200 feet inland to protect the structure from the eroding bluffs.
