This year's festival takes place from June 7 through 10 beneath billowing sails. World-famous musicians, including Liam Clancy with Robbie O'Connell and Donal Clancy, Martin Hugill, Matapat, Magpie, and Cindy Kallet, perform from the decks of tall ships and in formal concert. More than 60 performers from America and Europe sing, strum, and tell stories. Late-night pub sings and New England contra dances held at nearby taverns and dance halls. Full event pass costs $60, a pass for Fri. through Sun. costs $50; children 6 through 12 get their tickets for half-price. Individual tickets are $15 on Thurs. and $22 on Fri. and Sat.
