The 1761 courthouse features an original 18th-century courtroom, judge's chambers, tavern room, bedrooms, parlor, and kitchen. Enjoy a picnic lunch (don't forget to bring one) on the lawn overlooking the Kennebec River and then take a stroll along the woodland trails. In July and Aug., open Wed. through Sat. from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and on Sun. from noon to 4 p.m. Admission $1.
