Built in a youthful 1718 and enlarged in the 1760s by a conservative, buttoned-down Tory merchant, the house includes collections of Queen Anne and Chippendale furniture, family portraits, and china. Tours offered on the hour. Open on Sat. and Sun. from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission $5.
