Best store for used CDs
There's something special about a used CD. It's got history, it's got authenticity, and with luck it doesn't have scratches. No need to worry if you're shopping the pre-owned goods at Newbury Comics, where the merchandise is thoroughly checked and guaranteed to be in excellent condition. Not only that, but the selection varies from older, hard-to-find indie albums to brand-new hip-hop releases - because used doesn't have to mean old; it just means cheap.

Our other pick for used discs is CD Spins, a local indie chain with an impressive collection of both new and secondhand music. They're more than eager to buy, trade, and sell your used CDs, and the pricing is beyond fair, as are the trading policies. Heck, they're downright generous. And even if they don't like what you've brought them, they'll buy it from you anyway. They carry everything from Top 40 to polka; you just try and find a disc they won't take. After all, one man's John Tesh is another man's Mozart, right?
